About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Application Developer role based in Bengaluru. The Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain web and backend applications that support Elocity’s EV charging platform and related products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web and backend applications.
- Write clean, efficient code.
- Build and optimize user interfaces.
- Work with databases.
- Integrate third-party and internal services.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to implement new features, resolve technical issues, and improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Support testing and deployment activities within an agile environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Software Development and Programming skills.
- Experience building and maintaining production applications.
- Hands-on experience working with Databases, including designing schemas, writing queries, and optimizing data access.
- Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies for responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Experience with Integration of APIs, third-party services, and internal systems.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, .NET, or similar).
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with web application architecture, RESTful services, and basic security principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience in energy, utilities, or IoT domains is an advantage.
- Interest in clean-energy and sustainability-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
