Full Stack Developer
RupeeStop
About the Role
RupeeStop is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer Intern to contribute to building real products. From the first week, you will ship code to production for both frontend and backend systems. The role requires a builder who understands end-to-end web architecture and thrives in a high-ownership environment. You will collaborate directly with the engineering team, handle core feature tasks, and have a voice in product decisions. The company values curiosity, initiative, and speed over formal credentials, with a clear path to a permanent full-time role for those who demonstrate fast learning and ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Build, maintain, and scale features using React / Next.js on the frontend and Node.js / Express.js on the backend.
- API & Database Management: Design schemas, optimize queries using MongoDB or PostgreSQL, and architect clean, scalable RESTful APIs.
- Core Integrations: Implement user authentication flows, integrate third-party services, and build key business logic.
- Ship & Iterate: Debug, optimize performance, and continuously iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
- Leverage Modern AI Tools: Use AI-assisted workflows (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT) for writing code, debugging, and boosting productivity.
- Product Ownership: Contribute to architecture discussions, propose product improvements, and take ownership of assigned modules.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Solid Fundamentals: Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and core web concepts.
- Frontend Proficiency: Hands-on experience with React (Hooks, State Management, Client-side Routing).
- Backend Mastery: Practical experience building and consuming REST APIs with Node.js and Express.js.
- Database Skills: Hands-on experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, CRUD operations).
- Git Workflows: Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and standard branching strategies.
- Proof of Work: At least one complete, functional full-stack project (personal, academic, or freelance) demonstrating end-to-end thinking.
- Soft Skills: Clear communication, strong problem-solving initiative, and a growth mindset.
Good to Have
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, or Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth 2.0) and core web security practices.
- Experience deploying applications on platforms like Vercel, Render, or Railway.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in your daily workflow.
Who You Are
- A Builder: Enjoys turning ideas into working code and can articulate technical choices made in past projects.
- Proactive: Identifies problems, proposes solutions, and executes without requiring step-by-step instructions.
- Curious: Actively explores documentation, new libraries, and enjoys solving technical challenges.
- Detail-Oriented: Cares about user experience, code cleanliness, and edge cases.
