About the Role
Love's Travel Stops is hiring Retail Customer Service Cashiers for a fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining clean spaces and providing friendly, fast, and accurate services to customers. Flexibility and teamwork are important due to varying business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, including assisting customers with item location, answering product and service questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities, adhering to all state and local laws.
- Utilize various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
- Maintain cleanliness of the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps.
- Complete trash runs.
- Potential for cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
- Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
