About the Role

• 6-month Co-op opportunity starting June 2027 in Waltham, MA.

Available Disciplines

• Data Science & Digital Transformation: Utilize AI and machine learning to extract insights from scientific data, accelerating drug discovery and improving patient outcomes.
• Process & CMC Data Science: Develop first-principle, machine learning, and hybrid models to accelerate mRNA and vaccine process development.
• Process Modeling & Simulation: Apply computational modeling, machine learning, and multi-physics simulation to accelerate pharmaceutical process development.
• Drug Substance Development: Focus on the initial form of medicines to ensure precision and safety.
• Characterization: Analyze biological medicines to ensure quality and efficacy.
• Genomic Medicine Unit (GMU): Develop gene therapies for genetic diseases.

About You

Basic Qualifications

Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in:

• Bachelor's in: Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Computational Biology, Data Science, Biotechnology, Life Sciences (Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology), Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related STEM field, with plans to graduate by the end of 2028.
• Master's in: Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Software Engineering, or related life sciences, engineering, and technical fields, with plans to graduate by the end of 2028.
• PhD in: Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Science, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related quantitative field, with plans to graduate by the end of 2028.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require future visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op.
• Must be able to relocate to Waltham, MA and work 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, for the full duration of the co-op.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $27 - $60
