About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Physician Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process for healthcare services provided by physicians. This role is crucial in ensuring that billing is accurate and compliant with healthcare regulations, ultimately contributing to the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and submit claims to insurance companies and patients in a timely manner.
• Review and verify patient information and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation and coding for services rendered.
• Stay updated on changes in billing regulations and insurance policies to ensure compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance representatives regarding billing inquiries.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong knowledge of physician billing processes and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
