Operator

About the Role

The Operator role at Atharva Aqua is a full-time, on-site position based in Chiplun.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control water treatment equipment and systems.
• Start, stop, and adjust machinery as required.
• Record daily operational parameters.
• Check water quality.
• Perform routine inspections.
• Report any abnormalities or equipment issues.
• Assist with basic maintenance activities.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to support smooth plant operations.
• Support timely resolution of issues.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines in a plant or industrial environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with pumps, valves, filters, and related equipment.
• Attention to detail for logging data, monitoring gauges, and identifying operational irregularities.
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational needs, including weekends or holidays when required.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly to supervisors.
• Minimum educational background such as a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Vocational training or experience in water treatment, utilities, or industrial operations is an advantage.
• Prior experience in plant operations, water treatment, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
