About the Role

As a Product Test Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for the development, debug, and maintenance of test programs essential for delivering Micron's world-class DRAM portfolio to market. This role can involve focusing on the health and quality of memory cells or on high-speed interfaces, AI proficiency, AI-supported workflow automation, and system-level application testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and support test programs from the new product introduction phase through high volume manufacturing.
• Write test programs and support scripts in C++, Python.
• Contribute input and feedback to help define next-generation 'design for test' capabilities.
• Analyze device and test flow data to make informed test coverage decisions.
• Balance test time objectives while maintaining optimal yield and quality.
• Collaborate with partners in Design and Product Engineering, Fab, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Global Quality, Systems Integration Group, and Equipment Engineering teams to deliver the right test solution.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic R/L/C circuit knowledge.
• Digital systems and logic gate representation.
• Understanding of CMOS transistor operation.
• Basic statistics and data analytics.
• Intermediate to advanced programming capability in C++ or Python.
• Basic Unix / Linux environment.
• Basic understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
