About the Role
Flex is seeking an Associate Engineer, Quality in Coimbatore to support their manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge in Quality Management System, Quality Tools/Terminology.
- Knowledge in EMS / Manufacturing process.
- Support in supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks.
- Support new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards.
- Follow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.
- Provide concise, complete, and accurate documentation of inspection results.
- Adhere to process and look for possible process improvements.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, or system.
- Manage and coordinate supplier Material / Non-Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities.
- Quality control of work by appropriate reviews.
- Providing data-driven decision support.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Diploma in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC.
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in Automotive Industry / EMS / Electronics Products Manufacturing Industry.
- Basic knowledge in various PCB operations, Lean manufacturing, and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of measurement techniques.
- Planning and prioritizing activities.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Flexible to work in any time zone.
- Good communication, analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Very studious, fast learner, and able to adapt to the environment.
- Should be very sincere, dedicated, and a good team player.
- Basic knowledge on PPAP, ISO/IATF Standards, Drawing reading.
