About the Role
UPS Technology Group is offering paid summer internships for talented and motivated college students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Data Analytics, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields. This is an opportunity to launch an Information Technology career within a Fortune Global 500 organization.
This role is hybrid and based out of our New Jersey Technology office in Mahwah, NJ. Applicants must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
The internship will involve multiple positions within the Technology Group, including software engineering, application development, data analytics, product management, and information security. You will be matched to a product team based on your background and skillset.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects within your assigned product team.
- Apply and develop technical and soft skills through hands-on experience.
- Collaborate with team members and mentors to achieve project goals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
To qualify, you must be familiar with at least three of the technical skills listed below, combined from any category:
- Programming Languages: Java, Python, C++, .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL
- Operating Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server
- Platforms/Frameworks: Agile Methodology, Cloud Technology (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes), ASP.NET, Spring Framework, Angular
- Data Systems: Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Oracle Database
- Networking/Infrastructure: LAN/WAN Networking, Cisco IOS/NX-OS

Qualifications
- Must be a student currently enrolled in a degreed college/university program, or graduated from a degreed college/university program within the last 24 months.
- Must live within a commutable distance to the Mahwah, NJ office or be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer months (Monday - Friday, June - August).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Pay Range
- Undergraduate Interns: $13.35/hour to $30.00/hour
- Postgraduate Interns: $22.60/hour to $52.00/hour
