Intern, Generalist

About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented professional to drive operational excellence and cross-functional initiatives at Zepto. The role involves identifying process gaps, conducting root-cause analysis, streamlining workflows, and implementing scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with Category Management, Product, and Supply Chain teams to drive end-to-end program execution, establish performance metrics, and ensure continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Problem Identification & RCA: Analyze operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and conduct root-cause analysis to address recurring issues and process inefficiencies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Category Management, Product, and Supply Chain teams to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Program Management: Develop project plans, execution roadmaps, and SOPs to drive structured and timely execution of initiatives.
• Process Improvement: Lead pilot programs, implement new processes, and ensure smooth adoption across relevant teams.
• Performance Tracking: Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, measure program impact, and monitor operational performance.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, resolve execution challenges, manage risks, and ensure adherence to timelines and SLAs.
• Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-implementation reviews and establish feedback mechanisms to ensure sustainable process improvements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience or a strong interest in Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, or Process Improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify root causes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Understanding of process mapping, workflow documentation, and SOP development.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dashboards and data-driven decision-making is an advantage.
