Video editor internship

About the Role

This is a full-time remote Video Editor internship role at Zenithindia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in editing short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and branded storytelling.
• Ensure alignment with Zenithindia’s visual identity and Gen Z-focused culture.
• Assemble raw footage, cut and sequence clips.
• Add transitions and sound.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to refine narrative flow.
• Perform basic color correction.
• Integrate motion graphics or simple graphic elements.
• Export content optimized for various platforms.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Respond to feedback promptly.
• Manage deadlines.
• Stay current with video trends and emerging formats.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in video production and working with raw footage across different formats.
• Skills in video editing, including cutting, sequencing, pacing, and audio synchronization.
• Skills in video color grading and basic color correction.
• Skills in motion graphics and graphics for titles, overlays, and simple visual effects.
• Familiarity with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong visual storytelling ability.
• Attention to detail.
• Interest in Gen Z culture, social media, and digital trends are preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Manage time effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional creative teams.
• Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio/reel showcasing video work will be an advantage.
• Formal education in media, film, design, or related fields is a plus but not required.
