Interior draftsman

About the Role

Design Sense Architects is an architecture and planning firm seeking a full-time, on-site Interior Draftsman for their Delhi studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and layouts for interior projects, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details.
• Interpret design concepts from architects and interior designers and convert them into accurate CAD drawings.
• Update drawings based on feedback and site conditions.
• Coordinate with the design team.
• Maintain drawing standards.
• Prepare working drawings for execution.
• Ensure documentation is organized and up to date.
• Support site teams with drawings, measurements, and minor revisions during project execution.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, basic 3D visualization software).
• Strong technical drawing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and measurements.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture detailing, and basic construction practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to follow established drawing standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Delhi.
• Ability to manage deadlines and adapt to project requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Prior experience in interior drafting preferred.
