Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

GoAudits provides a mobile app and complete solution for auditing and inspections to improve quality, safety, standards, and compliance. Designed for inspections across various industries, GoAudits streamlines operations and boosts efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using Python or Java.
• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimising existing software solutions.
• Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and deliver tasks efficiently.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Stay updated with new AI technologies, tools, and industry best practices to improve skills continuously.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational understanding of Python or Java programming concepts.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and a strong eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) is a plus.
• Exposure to REST APIs, Git and AWS is a plus.
• Participation in coding competitions, relevant internships, or personal coding projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
