Store Associate

About the Role

RaceSims Studio, located in Nungambakkam, Chennai, is seeking a Store Associate for a full-time, shift-based position. You will be the first point of contact for guests at RaceSims Studio, ensuring they have a safe and exciting introduction to professional racing simulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome walk-in guests, answer questions, and recommend suitable sessions or packages.
• Manage bookings received in person, via phone, WhatsApp, and Instagram messages.
• Assist guests with simulator setup, including seat and pedal adjustments, explaining controls and safety rules.
• Start simulator sessions using the studio system.
• Provide patient and encouraging support to first-time users and children to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Process payments (cash, UPI, card) and issue GST invoices.
• Host events such as birthday parties, group gatherings, and corporate events.
• Inform guests about extended sessions, the RaceSims Academy, and hardware demonstration sessions.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and ensure all simulator rigs are race-ready; report any technical faults promptly.
• Accurately record session and customer details in the system.
• Perform studio opening and closing procedures according to standard protocols.
• Request reviews from satisfied guests and assist in capturing photos and videos for social media (with consent).

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, café, restaurant, cinema, gaming zone, hotel front desk) is preferred.
• Freshers with the right attitude are welcome.
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to remain calm and helpful during busy periods, especially on weekends.
• Comfortable using computers, tablets, and payment applications.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, which are peak operational times.
• Fluent in Tamil and English; Hindi is a plus.
• A passion for cars, F1, or gaming is considered a bonus.
