About the Role
This internship focuses on manufacturing, operations, and quality improvement. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing to assist with various projects centered around continuous improvement and compliance. You will report to the Production Manager of the optical filters business unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive projects to completion by following up on deliverables.
- Use technical knowledge to assist continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute Standard Operating Procedures for various technical processes.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to find solutions to complex problems.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience using SolidWorks.
- Experience operating 3D printers.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or relevant majors.
- Great attention to detail and follow-through.
- Up to 5% of travel is required.
