Accounts Analyst For AP

About the Role

This role is for an Accounts Analyst focusing on Accounts Payable (AP) within a US Accounting firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely in the accounting system.
• Perform three-way matching of Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Vendor Invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and Accounts Payable ledgers on a regular basis.
• Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues.
• Monitor pending invoices and ensure timely processing to avoid payment delays.
• Prepare weekly and monthly Accounts Payable reports for management review.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment records, and vendor correspondence.
• Coordinate with foreign counterparts and vendors regarding payment queries and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Plan and ensure that payment deadlines and reporting timelines are met.
• Working on Saturdays to meet deadlines and pending work, if required.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of Basic and Advanced Excel.
• Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes and vendor management.
• Good fluency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Ability to handle a team.
• Candidate should be residing in the proximity of Mumbai & Suburban Mumbai.
• Prior experience in BPO/KPO handling US clients will be preferred.

Shift Timing

• Midn Shift - 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM
• Late Night - 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• No pick-up and drop facility for any shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
