About the Role

Anand Atelier Associate is a leading interior design studio with offices in Mumbai and Jaipur, known for its strong experience and creative approach. The Junior Interior Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The firm provides comprehensive interior design, consultancy, and execution services across residential, commercial, and retail projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior designers in developing interior concepts.
• Prepare layouts and assist with space planning for residential, commercial, and retail projects.
• Create and update drawings.
• Coordinate FF&E selections.
• Prepare presentations.
• Maintain project documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and vendors.
• Participate in site visits.
• Help ensure that design intent is implemented accurately during execution.
• Research materials and finishes.
• Stay current with design trends.
• Contribute creative ideas that align with client requirements and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and revise technical plans.
• Experience or training in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic MS Office skills.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Strong visual, conceptual, and detail-oriented design skills, with an organized approach to documentation and timelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and interact professionally with clients and vendors.
• Willingness to conduct site visits, coordinate with contractors, and learn from on-site execution processes.
