Accounts trainer (Freelancer)

About the Role

SVR EdTech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Trainer for a full-time, on-site freelancer role in Bengaluru South. The trainer will be responsible for delivering structured, industry-relevant training in accounting concepts, tools, and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct classroom sessions, practical exercises, and assessments to build applied accounting skills.
• Design and update training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and case studies aligned with current accounting standards and business requirements.
• Explain theoretical concepts and guide learners through real-world scenarios.
• Resolve learner doubts and monitor their progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Collaborate with the training team to improve course content.
• Support on-the-job training initiatives.
• Ensure a professional and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, financial statements, bookkeeping, and taxation.
• Practical skills in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar).
• Proficiency in MS Excel for financial analysis.
• Familiarity with basic ERP or financial management tools.
• Training and facilitation skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, learner engagement, and assessment design.
• Good communication skills (spoken and written).
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Learner-centric approach to teaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) or corporate accounting experience are highly beneficial.
• Prior experience as a trainer, faculty, or mentor in accounting or finance, preferably in an academic, corporate training, or edtech environment, is an added advantage.
