About the Role
This is a permanent position located in Pune, with a hybrid working policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of cooling lines, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, plastic and sheet metal components, cooling modules, and fan shroud assemblies.
- Packaging and concept study to ensure components fit and function within the vehicle.
- Coordination with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Participation in DFM/DFA/DFS/DFMEA & DVP activities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with Automotive cooling system components.
- Testing Knowledge: Understanding of cooling system and component-level testing.
- Design Knowledge: Expertise in plastic and sheet metal design guidelines and manufacturing processes.
- CATIA V5 proficiency for 2D/3D design.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Windchill / Enovia.
- GD&T Knowledge: Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- MS Tools proficiency: SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Release Process and Change Management.
- Strong foundational and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Qualifications
- Good-to-Have: Knowledge of Battery Electric Vehicles, including components, integration, layouts, and installation.
