About the Role

EnglishReady offers a part-time, remote position for Spoken English Trainers focused on live, one-to-one online coaching. Trainers conduct short, structured sessions simulating real-life conversations for interviews, professional situations, and daily communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live, one-to-one online coaching sessions.
• Assess learner needs.
• Explain concepts in simple language.
• Correct grammar and pronunciation.
• Provide clear next steps after each session.
• Create a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
• Manage own coaching schedule within agreed availability.
• Maintain reliable internet and audio/video setup.
• Use EnglishReady’s platform tools for session delivery.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong spoken English proficiency.
• Clear pronunciation.
• Ability to explain concepts patiently without judgment.
• Comfort with basic technology, including video calling tools and online scheduling platforms.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Quiet workspace.
• Availability to conduct sessions consistently during chosen hours.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in English Teaching and Language Teaching.
• Teaching and Education skills to structure sessions, scaffold learning, and adapt explanations.
• Writing skills to provide clear feedback, brief written summaries, and simple learning resources.
• Experience tutoring or coaching adults or young learners online is beneficial.
• A background in English, Education, Communication, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory if coaching skills are strong.
