Instagram intern

About the Role

The Instagram Intern will support Zelvoxx’s social media team in planning, creating, and publishing content on Instagram. This is a remote internship role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with content ideation.
• Draft captions.
• Source or create visuals.
• Organize content calendars to ensure consistent posting.
• Monitor engagement.
• Respond to comments and messages under guidance.
• Compile basic performance reports using platform insights.
• Research trends, hashtags, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with designers or copywriters to align content with brand positioning.
• Manage tasks proactively.
• Attend virtual meetings.
• Communicate clearly with the team.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong understanding of Instagram features (posts, stories, reels) and current social media trends.
• Basic content creation skills: writing clear and engaging captions, selecting or creating visuals, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Attention to detail in organizing content calendars, scheduling posts, and checking accuracy of links, tags, and hashtags.
• Comfort using social media or marketing tools (e.g., Canva, basic photo/video editing apps, scheduling platforms).
• Willingness to learn new systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Openness to feedback and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in digital growth and branding.
• Enrollment in or completion of studies in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
• Prior experience managing personal or brand social accounts is a plus.
