Data Science Intern

About the Role

Afame Technologies is offering a project-based Data Science Internship for students and fresh graduates passionate about solving real-world problems using data. This internship provides hands-on learning through predefined industry-oriented projects, helping participants develop practical skills in data analysis, statistics, machine learning, and data visualization while building a strong portfolio.

• Type of Internship: Remote & Unpaid
• Duration: 1-3 months (flexible)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned Data Science projects within the specified timeline.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends.
• Develop predictive models using appropriate Machine Learning techniques.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Interpret analytical results and prepare project documentation.
• Submit project deliverables as per the internship guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to project deadlines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic understanding of Data Science concepts.
• Familiarity with Python programming.
• Basic knowledge of NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Scikit-learn is preferred.
• Understanding of statistics and data visualization concepts.

Qualifications

• Students currently pursuing Graduation or Post-Graduation.
• Fresh Graduates.
• Candidates interested in pursuing a career in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently.
