Accounting Associate

About the Role

Seeking a skilled Accounting Associate to join the GLBL BusSvcs RTR - Global Finance Services Division team in Bangalore. This role will perform Record To Report (RTR) activities for Global entities (US, EAME, APAC) as part of the Centre of Excellence (COE) team within the Bangalore Global Business Services (GBS) Organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial record keeping, reporting, tax filing, and other accounting functions.
• Provide timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Create reports on financial performance and provide insightful analysis for internal and external use.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests upon request.
• Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls, ensuring accounting procedures comply with GAAP.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Qualified CA with 0-2 Years relevant work experience; OR Qualified CMA/MBA/CA Inter with 5-7 years relevant work experience.
• Experience in RTR Accounting, Month-end closings, Balance sheet Account Reconciliations.
• Application of accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS/IND AS), especially in areas pertaining to Loans, Leases, Financial Instruments, Borrowings.
• Experience working in Oracle ERP is highly preferable.
• Experience working in captive accounting service centers or large corporates with Financial Services nature of business is preferable.
• Experience in Data Analytical skills and AI Tools like PowerBi, MS-Copilot will be considered useful.
• Experience in understanding accounting/business issues and performing accounting investigation for identifying root cause analysis will be considered useful.
• Flexibility to work in shift timings (EAME/US Shifts).
• EAME: 1 PM to 10 PM
• US (Non MEC): 3 PM to 12 AM
• US (MEC): 6 PM to 3 AM
• Requires working onsite five days a week.
• Should be open to work in shifts.
