At Heuronics, we are building indigenous maritime robotic systems, including Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), and Autonomous Surface Vehicles (ASVs) for defence and commercial applications. We are looking for passionate engineers who enjoy working with hardware, firmware, sensors, and real-world robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers.
- Interface with sensors such as IMUs, GPS/GNSS, pressure sensors, and depth sensors.
- Work with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, and Ethernet.
- Integrate microcontrollers with flight controllers, motor controllers, thrusters, and companion computers.
- Debug hardware and firmware, conduct system testing, and support field trials.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Fundamentals of embedded systems, electronics, and microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of C/C++ and firmware development.
- Familiarity with STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of communication protocols, PWM, ADC, interrupts, and timers.
- Good to have: FreeRTOS, ROS/ROS 2, MAVLink, ArduPilot/PX4, PCB design, Raspberry Pi, and robotics experience.
