LIMS Consultant

About the Role

• Configure, customize, and support LIMS applications.
• Develop workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
• Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and data migration activities.
• Collaborate with laboratory, QA, and business teams to understand requirements.
• Prepare validation documents including IQ/OQ/PQ and test scripts.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Provide user training and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LIMS-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• LIMS configuration, customization, and administration.
• System validation, testing, and documentation.
• Requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Troubleshooting and production support.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Hands-on experience in LIMS (LabWare / LabVantage / STARLIMS).
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server databases.
• Understanding of instrument integration and interface development.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and GxP compliance.
• Exposure to SDLC, Agile methodologies, and change management processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory workflows, sample lifecycle, and testing processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Chemical industries.
