Junior Web Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced developers to develop, maintain, and improve websites and web applications. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
• Build responsive web pages for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Convert design mockups and wireframes into functional web interfaces.
• Assist in implementing website features and user interface components.
• Support the integration of frontend interfaces with backend services and APIs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix website bugs and technical issues.
• Test website functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize website performance, loading speed, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and QA team members.
• Use Git and version control tools to manage code changes.
• Follow coding standards, development guidelines, and project requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
• Maintain basic technical documentation for developed features.
• Stay updated with modern web development technologies and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (Basic to intermediate knowledge)
• Responsive web design and mobile-first development
• Website layouts, forms, navigation, and interactive elements
• Frontend and backend development concepts
• REST APIs and JSON (Familiarity is an advantage)
• Git and version control systems (Basic knowledge)
• Code editor (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
• Website testing, debugging, and browser developer tools

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in web development, including internships or relevant projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical knowledge may also be considered.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve development skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks in a remote environment.
