About the Role

The Fashion Designer - Intern role at Ecolore Fashions and Retail Pvt Ltd is an on-site internship based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and development of collections aligned with the brand’s sustainable and minimalist aesthetic.
• Supporting fabric and trim selection.
• Contributing to mood boards and design concepts.
• Helping with sample development, fittings, and garment detailing, including embroidery and surface design.
• Collaborating with the production team.
• Organizing design assets and maintaining documentation to ensure designs meet quality, fit, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, with an understanding of slow and sustainable fashion principles.
• Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric types, properties, and sustainable material options.
• Skills in Fitting and garment construction, with attention to silhouette, proportion, and comfort.
• Ability to work with Embroidery and other detailing techniques to enhance minimalist designs.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in basic design tools (sketching by hand; familiarity with digital design software is a plus).
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and interest in contemporary, minimalist aesthetics.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
