About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Teaching Assistant position based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role involves supporting the delivery of programming and technology-related courses by working closely with instructors and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist instructors in conducting programming and technology training sessions.
- Help students understand programming languages, including C, C++, Java, and Python.
- Explain basic programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and logical problem-solving.
- Support students during practical coding exercises, assignments, and hands-on projects.
- Help prepare study materials, presentations, coding examples, and practice exercises.
- Provide individual assistance to students who need additional guidance.
- Identify common learning difficulties and help students improve their technical understanding.
- Monitor student progress, assignment completion, and classroom participation.
- Maintain a positive, interactive, and supportive learning environment.
- Coordinate with instructors and other teaching staff to improve the learning experience.
Requirements & Tech Stack
Programming & Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of C Programming, C++, Java, and Python.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, including variables, loops, functions, arrays, and object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and basic problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of mathematics and logical reasoning.
- Basic knowledge of databases, SQL, and software development concepts is an advantage.
Teaching & Communication Skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to guide students through coding exercises and practical assignments.
- Patience, confidence, and a positive attitude towards teaching.
- Ability to interact professionally with students and instructors.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong programming fundamentals and a genuine interest in teaching are encouraged to apply.
- Prior tutoring, mentoring, or teaching experience will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work full-time from the Surat office.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with programming tools and development environments.
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and improve teaching methods.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
