General Duty Assistant (GDA), Home Care

About the Role

ViveraOne provides in-person caregiving for elderly clients at home across Delhi NCR. We are building our first care team in Gurgaon and are looking for certified, experienced GDAs who care for every client with patience and respect.

• Salary: ₹20,000 per month
• Location: Gurgaon (client homes + ViveraOne office)
• Shifts: A mix of 6, 12, and 24-hour (live-in) duties at client homes. Between assignments, you'll be based at our office.
• For live-in duties, the family provides meals and a place to rest.
• Training: On-the-job training in ViveraOne's care standards and processes.
• Travel to and from client homes is at your own cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily activities.
• Provide feeding assistance and comfort support.
• Help with mobility, positioning, and transfers as per the care plan and your training.
• Help clients take medicines as confirmed by the family.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and infection-control standards.
• Observe and report any change in the client's condition to the nurse or coordination team.
• Keep daily records and follow assigned schedules.
• Respect each client's dignity, privacy, independence, and preferences.
• Offer companionship and general-care support.

Note: This is a support role and does not include nursing procedures. Cooking and cleaning are outside this role.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Recognised GDA certification (mandatory).
• Prior experience in hospital care, home care, or elder care (mandatory).
• Sound knowledge of personal hygiene, safe patient handling, and infection control.
• Good communication, patience, reliability, and a respectful approach.
• Comfortable with flexible shifts, including 24-hour live-in duties.
• Willing to complete background verification (identity, criminal record, education, employment, and references).
