About the Role
Bridge Green Upcycle is seeking an AI/ML Engineering Intern to work on predicting the aging of second-life batteries. This role is for individuals interested in the intersection of machine learning, physics, electrochemistry, and engineering insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, validate, and analyse real-world battery datasets.
- Improve ML models through structured experiments, benchmarking, and cross-validation.
- Build feature engineering and numerical modelling pipelines.
- Research battery and electrochemistry literature to enhance models.
- Maintain reproducible experiments with clean code, Git, and clear write-ups.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid Machine Learning (ML) fundamentals.
- Comfort with numerical methods.
- Experience building at least one project using PyTorch with CUDA/GPU (personal, academic, or hobby).
Qualifications
- Final-year or current Master’s student in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.
- Curiosity about battery degradation.
- Willingness to work on open-ended R&D problems.
