About the Role

- Hiring for 1st shift starting at $20.50/hr.
- Lutron Ketra has immediate openings on our 9:30am-6:00pm shift for Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associates and Forklift Operators of all experience levels at our Manufacturing and Distribution facility in Austin, TX.
- This is a hands-on role within the Operations team at a high-tech company.
- Opportunity to rotate through multiple departments, gaining exposure to equipment, processes, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (e.g., electric pallet jacks, order pickers, forklifts).
- Utilize RF technology for distribution functions: picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving, put away, and stock replenishment.
- Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner.
- Learn and use the inventory management system and enter materials transactions.
- Process customer orders in collaboration with supply chain and distribution teams.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment.
- 1 year shipping or receiving experience (preferred).
- Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment.
- Flexibility to work 1st shift (9:30am-6:00pm) and overtime as needed.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to move to surrounding workstations and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- Ability to work safely, wear appropriate PPE, and follow safety procedures.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor for any work visa.
