About the Role
The Jr Accountant (Fashion Store) will handle daily accounting tasks for a fashion retail environment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur.
Key Responsibilities
- Recording transactions
- Maintaining ledgers
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing basic financial reports
- Reconciling bank statements
- Supporting inventory valuation
- Ensuring accurate billing and cash handling
- Tracking expenses
- Monitoring sales-related financial data
- Supporting compliance with internal policies
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Proficiency with spreadsheets
- Proficiency with general computer applications relevant to retail finance
Qualifications
- Foundational accounting skills such as bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to reconcile transactions and records accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience or internship in retail, fashion, or a similar environment, especially in an accounting or finance support role, will be an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
