Logistics and Operations Internship

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organised Logistics & Operations Executive to manage daily order processing, inventory coordination, dispatches, deliveries, and operational activities. The candidate will coordinate with warehouse staff, delivery partners, vendors, and customer service teams to ensure accurate order fulfilment and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing & Dispatch
• Manage daily orders and coordinate timely dispatch of products.
• Verify product names, quantities, sizes, colours, and specifications before dispatch.
• Ensure the correct products are packed and shipped against each order.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff, packing teams, and delivery partners.
• Prepare invoices, packing lists, and other dispatch documents.
• Track pending orders and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel.
• Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the warehouse team for stock updates.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Track damaged, missing, misplaced, and returned products.
• Ensure products are properly labelled, stored, and organised.
• Maintain SKU-wise inventory records and support barcode-based stock management.
• Logistics & Delivery Coordination
• Coordinate with courier companies, transporters, and local delivery teams.
• Track shipments and follow up on delayed, lost, or damaged consignments.
• Arrange transportation for bulky and fragile home décor products.
• Ensure proper packaging to minimise transit damage.
• Maintain shipment tracking details, transport receipts, and delivery records.
• Coordinate reverse pickups, returns, replacements, and exchange shipments.
• Operations & Team Coordination
• Coordinate with the sales, customer service, warehouse, and accounts teams.
• Maintain daily operational reports covering orders, dispatches, pending deliveries, and returns.
• Follow up with vendors and suppliers regarding pending products and deliveries.
• Help resolve order discrepancies, incorrect dispatches, and customer delivery complaints.
• Establish and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order fulfilment and logistics.
• Ensure operational tasks are completed within the defined timelines.
