Social Media & NIL Athlete Relations Intern

About the Role

Electro is seeking an intern to support athlete communications and CRM management, ensuring every athlete partner has a professional and personal experience with the brand. This is an unpaid internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date athlete records.
• Respond to athlete messages daily with accuracy, speed, and professionalism.
• Document athlete outreach in our CRM with clear notes and follow-up dates.
• Assist with planning NIL campaigns around key dates in the college sports calendar.
• Build strong athlete relationships through clear and supportive communication.
• Keep the athlete partner database accurate, current, and easy to use.
• Support NIL agreements from initial outreach to signed partnership.

• Microsoft Excel (implied by "database" and "records")

Qualifications

• Active on Instagram with an understanding of athlete content and audiences.
• Clear, professional, and personable writing style.
• Ability to manage a high volume of daily communication.
• Comfortable initiating professional conversations with new contacts.
• Students in sports management, marketing, or communications are encouraged to apply.
