About the Role

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating details for ongoing projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with space planning.
• Creating interior layouts.
• Preparing construction drawings.
• Contributing to FF&E selections (finishes, furniture, and fixtures).
• Collaborating with senior designers, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Participating in site visits.
• Helping document design changes.
• Creating presentations, mood boards, and basic 3D visualizations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar).
• Proficiency in basic presentation tools (PowerPoint, Adobe tools).

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning with the ability to translate concepts into practical layouts.
• Understanding of Architecture and building systems to coordinate interior solutions with structural and MEP requirements.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Experience or education related to FF&E, including selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials appropriate to project goals.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visual and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow design direction.
• Capacity to work on-site in Vadodara.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Capacity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
