About the Role

Guardian Industries is seeking a Digital Technology & Data Intern for Summer 2027 in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a 12-week program.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models that improve operational performance, quality, reliability, and decision-making.
• Exploring and analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Building or enhancing data visualizations and dashboards that translate analytics into clear, actionable insights for business and operations leaders.
• Assisting with data pipelines and feature engineering, helping ensure data is reliable, scalable, and ready for analytics use.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand real business problems and help translate them into analytics-driven solutions.
• Experimenting with AI and GenAI tools to accelerate data exploration, code development, insight generation, documentation, and analytical storytelling while improving workflow efficiency.
• Documenting your work and communicating findings through clear storytelling and presentations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to one of the following areas: Data Science, IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or Mathematics.
• Eligible for full-time employment by summer 2029.
• Able to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Exposure to data analytics, data science, data engineering, machine learning, AI, or agentic automation.
• Hands-on experience with modern analytics tools.
• Experience with real production data.
