About the Role
The Billing Engineer Civil is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City, responsible for managing and verifying project-related quantities and bills.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and updating BOQs.
- Performing quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Coordinating with site engineers to validate executed work.
- Performing rate analysis.
- Checking contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Ensuring billing systems are accurate and aligned with contract terms.
- Maintaining detailed records.
- Assisting in cost control and reporting.
- Supporting project managers with timely billing documentation and certifications.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in basic civil engineering software tools for measurement, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills, including quantity take-offs from drawings and on-site measurements.
- Experience with Billing Systems and Rate Analysis to prepare, verify, and reconcile contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Solid Analytical Skills to validate quantities, detect discrepancies, and support cost control and reporting.
- Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in billing or quantity surveying for civil construction projects.
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices, contracts, and specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, vendors, and project managers.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune City on a full-time basis.
