Legal Intern

About the Role

RapidClaims is seeking a Legal Intern to support its corporate legal, transactional, and regulatory compliance functions. This role offers hands-on exposure to corporate law, commercial contracts, and legal processes within a fast-paced health-tech startup.

Job Overview

This is a 2-month paid internship, available either in-office in Bengaluru or remotely. The internship provides an opportunity to work on practical legal matters and support the company's internal legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with corporate, transactional, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Draft and review commercial contracts, agreements, and corporate documentation.
• Conduct research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters and prepare concise legal memos.
• Assist in maintaining statutory records, supporting filings, and managing internal legal processes.
• Ensure legal documents and corporate records are accurate, organized, and up to date.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand legal requirements and support business operations.
• Handle sensitive information and legal documentation with discretion.
• Stay updated on developments in corporate law, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and technology-related legal matters.

Qualifications

• Students currently pursuing the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year integrated law program.
• Candidates who have completed at least two corporate law internships, preferably at law firms.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented startup environment.
