About the Role
Ajanta Hospital, a healthcare and biotechnology organization in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, is seeking a Trainee Embryologist to support its embryology and assisted reproduction laboratory. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring hands-on training and supervised procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Assist in gamete handling.
- Support in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures.
- Document laboratory activities.
- Maintain strict quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the fertility team for accurate sample handling.
- Adhere to protocols and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong laboratory skills, including sample handling, aseptic techniques, and basic microscopy.
- Foundational knowledge of in vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproduction procedures.
- Understanding of andrology concepts, including semen analysis and male reproductive physiology.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow standardized protocols.
- Adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on laboratory and procedure schedules.
- Willingness to learn new techniques under supervision.
Qualifications
- Background in medicine, life sciences, or related fields such as biotechnology, reproductive biology, or clinical embryology.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Medicine, or a related discipline.
