About the Role
Novo Nordisk is seeking an EHS Engineer Intern to support site environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This is a ten-week full-time internship program designed to provide valuable, hands-on work experience within a global pharmaceutical company.
The Program
- Program Start: May 17, 2027
- Program End: July 23, 2027
- Interns will work closely with experienced industry professionals.
- Contribution to sustainable and meaningful project work.
- Includes instructor-led trainings, a leadership engagement series, and lunch and learns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives.
- Strengthen operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collect and analyze EHS data.
- Assist with the update and maintenance of procedural documentation.
- Support EHS training programs.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts.
- Advance sustainability initiatives.
- Support adherence to applicable environmental and safety regulations.
- Support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities where applicable.
- Apply engineering technical skills to develop process maps and draft technical summaries.
- Participate in process hazard analysis efforts.
- Contribute to enhancing chemical safety.

Qualifications
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Preferred majors: Engineering, Environmental Science, and/or Occupational Safety.
- Must be a rising junior or rising senior.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 0% overnight travel required.
- No employment visa sponsorship will be provided.
