About the Role
Reliable Chevrolet Springfield is seeking an Entry-Level Automotive Parts Counter and Warehouse Worker to join our team in Springfield, MO. This position offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry by supporting our parts department, assisting customers, organizing inventory, and maintaining a well-run warehouse. This job runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the parts counter by identifying and providing the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Manage inventory by receiving, stocking, and organizing parts in the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the parts department and warehouse areas.
- Process and fulfill parts orders accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure parts are available on time for service technicians and customers.
- Perform basic warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and shipping of automotive parts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- No prior automotive parts experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry automotive parts as needed.
- Basic computer skills to use inventory and order-processing systems.
- Basic Excel and CDK experience preferred.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Springfield, MO location.
