About the Role
Seeking a dedicated trauma nurse to provide specialized care in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality improvement, and professional development. Nurses support a supportive, team-oriented environment and have opportunities for advancement into roles such as emergency, surgical, or intensive care nursing, as well as leadership positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care for complex trauma and surgical cases.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on care management and post-discharge needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and modify individualized care plans.
- Participate in quality, safety, and regulatory activities.
- Engage in ongoing professional growth and mentorship programs.
Qualifications & Tech Stack
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain Missouri licensure within 90 days of graduation.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in trauma, acute care, or related fields is a plus but not required.
