About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, curious, and highly resourceful Legal Intern who wants to understand how businesses, investments, and legal structures work in the real world. Working closely with the Chairman and New Ventures team, you will support legal research, documentation, contracts, corporate structures, and coordination with external legal advisors across Neve Jewels Group and emerging ventures. This is not a traditional legal internship focused only on research. We want someone who can understand an issue, find answers, coordinate with the right people, and help move matters towards completion.

The mindset: Understand it ® Research it ® Simplify it ® Get it done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contracts & Legal Documentation
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organising NDAs, agreements, term sheets, and other legal documents.
  • Identify key commercial terms, obligations, risks, and deadlines.
  • Maintain organised legal records, document trackers, and contract repositories.
  • Coordinate signatures, approvals, and execution of agreements.
  • Ventures & Corporate Structures
  • Support company incorporations, corporate structuring, and legal requirements for new ventures.
  • Research regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Assist with investment documentation, shareholder agreements, and corporate governance matters.
  • Coordinate with company secretaries, lawyers, and other advisors.
  • Legal Research & Problem-Solving
  • Research legal and regulatory questions across businesses, investments, and related initiatives.
  • Convert complex legal information into clear, concise summaries.
  • Identify potential risks, open questions, and matters requiring professional advice.
  • Support legal due diligence for new opportunities and investments.
  • Legal Operations & Follow-through
  • Coordinate with external lawyers, consultants, and advisors.
  • Track legal matters, deadlines, filings, and pending actions.
  • Follow through on documentation and ensure timely closure.
  • Use AI and digital tools responsibly to improve research, organisation, and efficiency.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • Ownership: Takes responsibility and follows through until completion.
  • Curiosity: Genuinely interested in business, investments, and law.
  • Resourcefulness: Finds answers and solutions independently.
  • Analytical thinking: Understands issues, identifies risks, and asks good questions.
  • Clarity: Simplifies complicated legal matters into practical insights.
  • Speed: Responds promptly and works with urgency.
  • Attention to detail: Careful with documents, language, deadlines, and accuracy.
  • Trust: Demonstrates discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Technology-first mindset: Comfortable using AI, research platforms, and modern productivity tools.
  • Strong written communication.
  • Research skills.

Qualifications

  • Final-year law students, recent law graduates, or candidates with up to 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Exposure to corporate law, commercial contracts, venture capital, private equity, or legal research is advantageous but not essential.

We value intelligence, initiative, ownership, and willingness to learn more than prior experience.
