Community Engagement and Outreach Intern

About the Role

This is a remote internship role for a Community Engagement & Outreach Intern at Suneeti Initiatives. The intern will be responsible for expanding Suneeti’s youth community by reaching out to students, building awareness about the organization, and encouraging interested individuals to join and actively engage with our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying relevant student communities and networks.
• Reaching out to potential youth members.
• Promoting Suneeti’s initiatives and opportunities.
• Supporting community-building activities.
• Developing strategies to increase student engagement and participation across digital platforms.
• Assisting in building relationships with student communities, colleges, youth organizations, and relevant networks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in youth engagement, social impact, governance, public policy, or community development.
• Ability to communicate confidently with students and youth communities.
• Good networking and outreach skills.
• Proactive approach towards identifying and engaging potential community members.
• Ability to use social media and digital platforms for outreach.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good English communication skills.
• Hindi is a plus.
• Basic understanding of community building, digital outreach, or networking is preferred.
