Customer Service Warehouse Associate

About the Role

Ewing Outdoor Supply is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale landscape, irrigation, and outdoor supply company seeking dependable, customer-focused team members for its operations team. This foundational role involves customer service, warehouse operations, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance, suitable for individuals who enjoy an active, team-oriented environment with both indoor and outdoor work. Prior industry experience is not required, as world-class training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales
• Greet customers, answer calls, and field customer questions.
• Assist customers with landscape materials, outdoor supplies, and irrigation product recommendations.
• Build and manage customer relationships, offering sales support to customer accounts.
• Warehouse & Yard Operations
• Pull, stage, and load customer orders, including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming warehouse and yard, adhering to all equipment and material-handling safety standards.
• Inventory Management
• Receive and stock deliveries and transfers.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
• Delivery and Transportation
• Load and unload materials using company delivery vehicles, following all safety protocols.
• Safely deliver customer materials in company delivery vehicles to local job sites, providing world-class customer service upon arrival.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Eagerness to work as a team and deliver world-class customer service.

Preferred, But Not Required

• Warehouse associate experience.
• Delivery driver experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of irrigation, plumbing, or landscape materials.
• Spanish Bi-Lingual is a plus.
