Junior Architect

About the Role

This is a full-time Junior Architect role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design process, including concept development, preparation of drawings, 3D models, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with senior architects, assist in design reviews, and update drawings based on feedback.
• Prepare municipal and working drawings.
• Assist with material selection.
• Support site visits to track progress and resolve design issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, budgetary, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in architectural design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit (or similar BIM software), SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for presentations.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building materials, and construction techniques.
• Ability to prepare concept designs, layout plans, sections, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
• Good knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes in Bengaluru or willingness to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Strong visual, spatial, and design sense with an interest in sustainable and user-centered design.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team and respond constructively to feedback.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain documentation accurately.
• Prior internship or 1–2 years of experience in an architectural or design studio is preferred but not mandatory.
