Founder’s Office Associate

About the Role

This is a broad generalist role working directly with the founder. The work will vary across research, operations, finance and administration, marketing, product, technology, business development, and other priorities. Assignments will be matched to the person's demonstrated strengths, with the expectation that they can learn unfamiliar work quickly and take it from an unclear brief to a useful result.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of varied projects across business functions based on current priorities and personal strengths.
• Research unfamiliar subjects, verify sources, and convert findings into clear recommendations, briefs, comparisons, presentations, or action plans.
• Use AI tools deeply and responsibly for research, analysis, drafting, creation, automation, and problem-solving, while checking facts and improving the final output.
• Prepare documents, spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, presentations, and structured updates.
• Coordinate with team members, vendors, professionals, partners, and customers and follow up until the next action or closure is clear.
• Learn new software, workflows, and domains quickly and document reusable processes.
• Report progress, blockers, decisions, and next steps concisely and reliably.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excellent practical use of AI tools and the judgment to verify and refine their output.
• Strong research, reasoning, writing, and communication skills.
• High ownership, reliability, organisation, and comfort with varied work.
• Demonstrable ability in at least one useful function.

Nice to Haves

• Previous founder's office, consulting, startup, operations, or cross-functional experience.
• Strong work samples, projects, portfolios, or results that make the candidate's capabilities clear.

Qualifications

• No specific degree or professional qualification is required.

Compensation

• Salary: ₹1,80,000 – ₹3,00,000 per annum
• Performance Bonus: Up to ₹90,000
