Optimistic Studio | اوبتمستك ستوديو is a Saudi Arabian game development studio specializing in multiplayer and co-op games with unique concepts. The focus is on strong gameplay mechanics that engage players for extended periods and enable intense shared gaming experiences. The team works creatively and experimentally to develop new ideas and implement them with technical precision. Internships offer the opportunity to take on responsibility early on, contribute own ideas, and work directly on ongoing projects.

Role Description

As an Intern at Optimistic Studio | اوبتمستك ستوديو, you will support the team throughout the development process of multiplayer and co-op games. Your daily tasks will include contributing to game mechanics, testing features, documenting feedback, and close collaboration with developers, game designers, and art teams. You will assist in preparing builds, evaluating test results, and creating simple concepts or prototypes. This internship is full-time, on-site, and located in Pune City.

Qualifications

• Initial knowledge in game development (e.g., Game Design, Programming, or Level Design) and a strong interest in multiplayer and co-op games.
• Analytical skills, structured way of working, and a fundamental understanding of game mechanics and user experience.
• Teamwork, clear and respectful communication, and the willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Independence, willingness to learn, and motivation to familiarize yourself with new tools, engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal), or workflows.

Desirable

• Currently studying or completed education in Computer Science, Game Design, Media Technology, or a comparable field.
• Good English skills.
