Entry Level Associate, Audit

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain an understanding of the client’s business and industry, as well as a working knowledge of the client’s system cycles and account balances within assigned tasks.
• Understand the work to be performed and its purpose.
• Perform substantive and analytical auditing procedures in assigned areas.
• Prepare working papers to adequately document tests performed and procedures followed, substantiating conclusions reached.
• Ensure the proper and consistent application of accounting principles during audit procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes.
• Identify and document control deficiencies or other matters requiring management attention.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and completed all requirements to be eligible for the CPA exam.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
