About the Role

KLA is seeking motivated Mechanical Engineering Interns to contribute to exciting projects at our Ann Arbor, Michigan location this summer. You will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work.

Key Responsibilities

• Design 3D CAD models of mechanical parts and assemblies
• Create and maintain engineering documentation
• Perform basic analytical modeling to support design decisions
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, optical, systems, and software engineers
• Procure components and materials for prototyping
• Assemble and test your designs in a laboratory setting

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Completed fundamental coursework in mechanical design and manufacturing
• Basic skills in CAD software
• Familiarity with PTC Creo and Ansys is a strong plus
